Urinal blocks are being stolen from Jeremy Clarkson’s pub
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour star purchased The Windmill pub in Asthall for around £1,000,000 in 2024.
He set about turning it into what he describes as a traditional country pub focused on UK‑sourced food and drink.
The refurbishment and rebrand into The Farmer’s Dog were filmed for Clarkson’s Farm series four, with the pub opening in August of 2024.

In the first episode of the fifth series of the show, Mr Clarkson revealed that light bulbs, cooking oil and urinal traps are being stolen by pub customers.
“Just last night, somebody stole £200 worth of cooking oil – and that’s not the maddest thing that gets nicked from here,” he shared.
According to a clip from the upcoming season seen by The Independent, the presenter said that every day someone came in and removed a lightbulb from the pub toilets.
On top of that, urinal blocks, the curved pipes beneath urinals that use a liquid seal to keep unpleasant smells at bay, were said to be disappearing from the men’s toilets as well.

“We’ve had to screw these down to stop them being nicked,” he told the Clarkson’s Farm crew. “Who steals a urinal trap?”

Several further episodes will drop on the following Wednesdays over the next couple of weeks.
Filming on Clarkson’s Farm series six has already begun, with a release date aimed for 2027.
