Sold through different retailers online, including Amazon, Tesouka-branded products like tagine paste, harissa and Moroccan preserved lemon paste received positive reviews online.
One five-star review, posted under the products listed for sale on Amazon, said: “Brilliant fresh flavours you can tell it’s made by people who really know what they are doing and know flavour mixing.
“Had some lovely food using this. Great value for money… Will definitely be a returning customer.”
The long-time director of the company, Yvonne Penne-Stuart, appeared to be the only worker behind the brand, as zero employees were declared in its most recent accounts.
