Thames Valley Police issued the warning following a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour at Franklin Playground on the new build Willowbrook Estate in Didcot.

Concerns have been raised about groups of youths playing music loudly after dark, smoking, drinking alcohol and causing a nuisance to those nearby.

PCSO Bethanie Saunders, from the Didcot and Wallingford neighbourhood team, urged residents experiencing anti-social behaviour to contact the police on 999.

Parents and guardians are also being encouraged to speak with their children who are out when it is dark.

She says speaking with them could deter them from behaving anti-socially or encourage them to remove themselves from groups of friends that are doing so.
