Probe launched after ‘fight’ outside new Oxford golf bar
Thames Valley Police has said they are investigating an “altercation” on Saturday, May 30, outside Slice, a brand new golf simulator activity bar and pizza joint in West Way Square, Botley.
This was around 6.45pm with a man in his twenties receiving minor injuries.

An eyewitness to the scene said there was “fighting” outside Slice Botley and that police arrived at around 7pm.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to West Way Square following an altercation at around 6.45pm on Saturday (May 30).
“A man in his 20s received minor injuries. At this time, no arrests have been made and our investigation is ongoing.

Slice Golf was launched in only the past month and has a large bar space, an interactive darts board and a kitchen serving up small plates and New York-style pizza by the slice.
Virtual golf involves hitting a golf ball into a hitting screen and watching it fly as it would in real life through a projection, offering players rounds of golf, mini games and even data to help the super keen golfer perfect their swing.
