Nostalgic photos of St John Ambulance through the years
They are backed by many groups and individuals who support their work with donations as in Picture 1.
The Witney division received £100 from Carterton and Witney banger racing clubs towards the cost of an ambulance in 1973.

Shoppers were invited to ‘revive’ the model during a flag day in the town’s Market Square in 1987.
It was a similar scenario in Picture 3 with members at Carterton reviving a dummy at an open evening to publicise their activities in 1997.

Bicester’s St John group in Picture 4 received £1,250 thanks to the efforts of local runners in 1985. The money had been raised in a fun run organised by Bicester road runners and Bicester Lions.
