The pop star and her former Red Bull F1 boss husband share their sprawling, Grade II listed mansion near Banbury.

Earlier this year, the couple sparked fury among their neighbours who accused them of “ruining” the tranquillity of Marston St Lawrence with planning applications.

The Daily Mail reported Mr Horner had installed an “illegal” pizza oven due to it not having planning permission.

A separate retrospective planning application was later submitted.

This was for “an oak-framed gazebo with lead roof and a brick-built pizza oven” which the report states isn’t fully built.

A spokesman from the council’s heritage team said: “Whilst well-constructed, the pergola lies in direct sight of the church when viewed from this garden area to the east of the house and detracts from views of the church, which is Grade-I listed and therefore impacts its setting.

“It is worth also noting that a pizza oven has been constructed in red brick with a flue.

“Based on its construction, I would consider this development.

“This flue is also visible over the wall, which cumulatively is considered to have a harmful impact on the setting of the listed building.”

But the plans, which were due to be decided on by the council on May 15, has still not had a verdict.

No new date was given by the council to make its decision.
