Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc spotted with police dogs
The Monégasque racer was at the British Grand Prix last weekend (July 3-5), where Thames Valley Police was helping out with security.
The 2022 World Drivers’ Championship runner-up would gain his first victory of the season at the Silverstone track, taking the win ahead of home favourites George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.

During the event he was spotted by police dogs Jack and Rolo who were on duty sniffing for anything that “should not be there in order to keep everyone safe”.
However, they briefly found time away from their work to pose with Mr Leclerc.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “Big day out for PD Jack and PD Rolo at Silverstone.
“Our boys, their handlers and the team spent last weekend at the British GP, helping Northamptonshire Police at the event.

“For Jack and Rolo, their job as Specialist Search Dogs was to sniff, detect and find anything that should not be there in order to keep everyone safe.

“Safe to say, we think they enjoyed this weekend and were both happy to pose with race winner Charles Leclerc! Pawesome.”
The 28-year-old has been with the Ferrari team since 2019 but this was his first ever win at the British Grand Prix.
It ended a run of almost 20 months without a victory at a Formula 1 grand prix.
