Driver fined for North Yorkshire A64 speeding over 60mph
Ryan Lovatt was caught exceeding the 60mph limit for goods vehicles while driving a Volkswagen Transporter on the A64 Whitwell Hill in High Hutton, North Yorkshire, on August 29, 2025.
The 40-year-old was sentenced at Harrogate Justice Centre.

He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal speed limit for his vehicle type.
Lovatt, of Church Street, Kingham, Oxfordshire, was ordered to pay a £76 fine and £120 in costs.
He also received three penalty points on his driving licence.
The offence was recorded as a breach of sections 86(1) and 89(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
