Aldi reveals quietest shopping times in Oxfordshire
The supermarket revealed its least busy times in Oxfordshire to help families cut costs and avoid crowds during the school holidays.
According to Aldi’s in-store data, the quietest periods are typically before 10am and after 8pm on weekdays, with some quieter windows late on Saturday evenings.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know the school holidays can be a busy and expensive time for families, so we want to make shopping as simple and affordable as possible.
“By visiting during quieter periods and making use of Aldi’s everyday value, shoppers can save both time and money this summer.”
The advice comes alongside Aldi’s ongoing investment in affordability, with more than £200 million spent on price reductions so far this year.
To help shoppers make the most of their budget, Aldi is also reminding families of its regular Super 6 offers on fresh produce, which provide six fruits or vegetables at discounted prices every two weeks.
Other tips include looking out for red-sticker reductions on bakery, meat, and deli items near their best-before dates, with discounts of up to 75 per cent.
Aldi also highlights its weekly fresh meat and fish promotions, an online meal planner for budget-friendly recipe ideas, and its popular Specialbuys, which launch in-store every Thursday and Sunday.
Aldi was recently named the UK’s cheapest supermarket by Which? for the fifth consecutive year.
