The third live semi-final airs on ITV tonight (May 9), where a mix of performers will take to the stage for a chance to win the coveted prize.

Acts range from dancers to circus performers and will be vying to impress judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and show newcomer KSI, who recently replaced Bruno Tonioli.

A place in the grand final would give them a shot at a cash prize and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

In total, 40 acts made it through to the semi-final stage, but only 10 can reach the final.

Two acts can get into the final from each of the five semi-finals, either by winning the public vote or receiving the singular golden buzzer allowed in an episode to go straight in.

They aim to join previously confirmed finalists Matty Juniosa and the dance duo Anastasiia and Salsa.

Mr Juniosa secured his spot after receiving the golden buzzer from Ms Holden, which put him straight through to the final.

Who is competing tonight?

The line-up of contestants competing this weekend was revealed on the official BGT social media channels on Thursday, May 7.

This includes glowing performance group Antigravity, daredevil act Liwei Yang, The Lux City Choir, dance group Mega Unity, acrobatic act Mizuki Shinagawa, harpist and singer Niamh Noade, dance group Playground and finally comedian Ted Hill.

The comedian and science presenter was awarded Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer for his unique performance.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian performance group Antgravity was Alesha Dixon’s Golden Buzzer act after she beat Simon to the button.

Alesha threw herself onto the desk to beat Simon, but Cowell then insisted his pinky made contact first.
