Welbeck Oxford healthcare to create more than 200 jobs

Welbeck Oxford, based at Jordan Hill in Oxford, marks the second site for the healthcare provider following the launch of its flagship London centre seven years ago.

Rachel Boxall, centre director at Welbeck Oxford, said: “We’re delighted to have finalised the first wave of recruitment, strengthening our senior leadership team and filling positions within the management tier.

“The next step will focus on ongoing recruitment for clinical and specialist roles, beginning with key positions such as imaging, pharmacy and paediatrics.

“We will also be aiming to hire 120 contracted staff too, with a range of exciting careers available for nurses, radiographers, theatre practitioners, reception staff and wider admin roles.”

The centre will focus on minimally invasive treatments with no requirement for overnight stays.

Welbeck has been working with specialist recruitment agency Compass Associates throughout the hiring process.

“During this time the team have identified 85 potential hires being submitted for consideration, resulting in 62 interview requests.

“As we look ahead to the second phase, we are focusing on clinical staffing hires to successfully complete the full-scale delivery of the Welbeck recruitment programme.”
