The Spice Girl and her husband, former Manchester United and England footballer Sir David Beckham, have lived in Oxfordshire for around a decade.

The couple, who have a Cotswolds mansion in Great Tew near Chipping Norton, have been embroiled in a public family feud for some time now.

In January, this came to a head as their eldest son, Brooklyn, made explosive allegations in a lengthy Instagram post.

He claimed that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and danced “inappropriately on me” in front of their guests, adding that he had never felt more “uncomfortable or humiliated” in his life.

And he also alleged that his wife had been “disrespected” by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party.

Now, the fashion icon has spoken on her relationship with her children amid the feud, during an interview with WSJ. Magazine.

Appearing as the April issue’s cover star, Lady Beckham told WSJ’s Ellen Gamerman: “I think that we’ve always: we love our children so much.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.

“And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

Addressing whether the negative press has affected her business, Lady Beckham responded: “I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good.

“I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me.”
