Vauxhall seized as motorist drives from Oxfordshire police

The incident happened last night (Wednesday, April 15) and saw police attempt to talk to the driver of a Vauxhall car who “made off”.

The force then located the car and recovered it from its registered address.

A spokesperson for the west Oxfordshire unit said: “Officers PC Speke and PCSO Duffield attempted to speak with the driver last night, however the vehicle made off.

“Following further enquiries, the vehicle has now been recovered from the registered address. Property located inside the vehicle, including bank cards and a passport, has been retained for safekeeping.

“Please contact 101, quoting reference INC-20260414-2008, to arrange collection and discuss the matter further.”
