UK supermarket chain introducing £13 pay increase from July
Morrisons, which has around 10 stores across Oxfordshire, is implementing pay increases.
This comes after a proposed increase for store and manufacturing workers to £13.11 .
This was welcomed by members of the Union of Shop, Distributive, and Allied Workers.
The pay increases is for all eligible hourly-paid customer assistants.

From July 20, they can expect an increase from £12.81 to £13, with other roles rising by 19p.
From October 26, the established rate of pay for a customer assistant will increase from £13 to £13.11, with other roles increasing by 11p.
Morrisons had previously increased its customer assistant pay rate from £12.21 to £12.71 in March as the new National Living Wage took effect.
Workers can also expect a one off boost of between £25 and £175, based on their contractual hours.
