UK kitchen fitter collapses into liquidation with orders uncertain
Liquidators were appointed to wind down Witney-based Sherwood Kitchens Limited on March 31 having been founded 24 years ago.
The company, set up by Steve and Bobby Pidsley in 2002, specialises in kitchen design, supply, and installation, offering services ranging from full kitchen refits to replacement doors.
Sherwood Kitchens also has a showroom in Witney’s High Street.

Mark David Charles Hopkins and Rachel Elizabeth Ennis, of business specialist FTS Recovery in Lutterworth, have been appointed as joint administrators.
Sherwood Kitchens installs kitchens across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire “to name a few”, its website says.
Members and creditors of the company approached the liquidators to intervene with the business, records on the London Gazette show.
The type of liquidation is a creditors voluntary liquidation, a formal insolvency process where directors of an insolvent company voluntarily choose to close the business because it cannot pay its debts.
It is not known whether with the company being put into liquidation, if there are any customer orders that remain and won’t be fulfilled.
Sherwood Kitchens was approached for a comment, but no response was given.
The business enjoys largely positive reviews on Google, with one customer saying: “Awesome work, great staff, great finish.”
But the most recent customer said three weeks ago: “They take your money very quickly but are not there when something is not correct and blame the clients.”
