Two Oxfordshire arrests as police call drivers ‘menaces’
Thames Valley Police’s roads policing team said officers patrolling rural parts of the county dealt with several motorists for driving offences today (March 16).
In Chipping Norton, a red Ford was stopped by officers as checks showed it had no MOT or tax for nearly two years.

Police then stopped a white Peugeot van on the A41 near Bicester after a ‘road rage incident’ was reported, and discovered the van had no insurance.
The van was seized and the driver reported, and police said the six points on his one-month-old licence would result in an instant ban from driving.
Additionally, the van’s passenger was arrested for failure to appear court.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We’ll be out again tomorrow, and every day, taking menaces like this off the roads and making them safer for everyone.
