Thame historian releases new book on Medieval England

Charles Boundy, from Thame, Oxfordshire, will officially publish his book ‘Conquest to Charter – The Resilience of England 940-1272’ on Tuesday, July 28.

This period includes significant events such as the Norman Conquest, the creation of the Bayeux Tapestry, the Domesday Book, and Magna Carta.

A follow-up to his first book, ‘Ice to Athelstan – The Emergence of England,’ Boundy’s latest work aims to bring early English history to life for the general reader.

The book provides a concise account of English history in twelve chapters, supplemented by maps and timelines.

It is priced at £13.99 and will be available in bookshops and other outlets.
