Tesco introduces hundreds of cleaning robots to UK stores
The UK supermarket chain partnered with ICE, a cleaning technology firm, on what is being branded the first major deployment of its type in the convenience sector.
This will be brought into stores 600 Express stores across the country. It is unknown if the six Oxfordshire stores are included.
These machines will work alongside colleagues, rather than replace them. Tasks they will complete includes floor cleaning, so the workers can be more customer facing.

According the The Retail Gazette, ICE said the robots will give the company more consistent cleaning standards, as there is data tracking within the machines which monitors performance.
Mark Bresnihan, chief executive, said the partnership shows how data-drive automation can work hand-in-hand with retail teams to improve cleaning standards.
