‘Stolen’ Hyundai recovered in minutes by Oxfordshire cops
Thames Valley Police has said that they found a car – reported stolen from Carterton – within 16 minutes of the initial report today (Tuesday, May 19).
A spokesperson for the West Oxfordshire team said: “Reported to us today May 19 was a stolen vehicle from Carterton.

“The owner rung us on 999 and officers were despatched to the area for a search.
“Given the immediacy of the report officers from the West Oxon team were able to find and seize the vehicle within 16 minutes of the report.
“The car was gratefully retrieved by the owner, and enquiries regarding the suspect are now ongoing.”
