He uploaded the video of the snake slithering around, which has since been viewed over 30,000 times.

He said: “Look who’s out for the sun in Eynsham! I literally stumbled upon this chap on my 5km run just down Chilbridge Lane in the fields.
“Pretty sure it’s an Adder. Just under 1m long. I got hissed at for recording. I’ve always found snakes fascinating, my wife on the other hand is horrified.”
Although many reacted with fascination to the snake video, some were sceptical whether it was an adder or not and thought it was more likely a grass snake.
“100 per cent a gorgeous grass snake, you are very lucky,” said one commenter.
Another said: “This is a grass snake. You can see the yellow band around its neck.”

A separate person commented that adders usually have a ‘V’ shape on their head.
Grass snakes are primarily found in England and Wales and are non-venomous, shy creatures.
