Sainsbury’s and Tesco updates on Oxford petrol stations
Both supermarkets have said that their petrol stations at their superstores were open as normal on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday March 22, although Sainsbury’s has said its car wash is closed.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s said: “The petrol station at our Oxford superstore in Littlemore [Heyford Hill] was open as normal.”

They added: “The car wash is currently closed due to a technical fault.”
Meanwhile Tesco said that its petrol filling station on Ambassador Avenue in Cowley was open as usual.
They added that they have good availability of all fuel grades at the petrol station.
The statements came after a man – who did not wish to be named – said there were closures at the superstores.
