Red Arrows Oxfordshire route and timings in UK skies today

The iconic RAF display team will fly over north Oxfordshire today (Friday, August 28), as part a series of August bank holiday shows.

After their performance at Clacton Airshow in Essex, they will leave RAF Mildenhall. 

On their journey to their next public displays before heading back to Liverpool, they will pass north of Banbury at around 6.15pm, giving Oxfordshire residents a rare chance to see the jets in formation.

After their Oxfordshire fly-over, they will head to the Dorset coast for the Sidmouth display.

It features other aerial acts including the Stampe Display Team, Rich Goodwin’s Jet Pitts Muscle Plane, the Aerosuperbatics Wing Walkers Duo, and the Navy Wings team.

The Red Arrows will end their weekend schedule with displays at the Southport Airshow on Saturday and Sunday. They are set to perform at 3.30pm on both days.

Saturday’s programme also includes the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at 4pm, while Sunday will feature a Eurofighter Typhoon display.

The Red Arrows recently returned to the UK after a period of disruption.

Earlier this month, their appearance at the Eastbourne International Airshow was cancelled due to logistical issues following a North American tour that left the team briefly stranded in Canada.

Since returning, the team has performed in Sweden and resumed their UK display schedule.
