Probe into Oxfordshire town youth as eggs and rocks thrown
Thames Valley Police has reported a rise in anti-social behaviour across Banbury, supposedly by young people including in the Banbury Chase housing area.
According to the force the behaviour includes rocks being thrown at vehicles, doors being kicked and eggs being chucked at properties.

A spokesperson said: “The neighbourhood team have been receiving an increase of youth related Anti-Social Behaviour reports in numerous locations in Banbury town – this includes rocks being thrown at vehicles, doors being kicked and eggs being thrown at properties.
“We are aware of a number of recent reports from the Banbury Chase housing area but we are keen to know if these issues are happening elsewhere and not being reported.
If this has taken place in your area we encourage you to report these matters to us through 101.”

Alternatively the public can report anti social behaviour online, on the Banbury town police web page, or anonymously on the independent charity Crimestoppers website on 0800 555 111.
This warning comes amid a troubled few days for Banbury after the body of a man was found following a ‘sudden death’.
Police have also confirmed the man’s body was found in the canal and that it was not being treated as suspicious.
