Probe amid ‘several assaults’ at Oxfordshire football club
Thames Valley Police has said it is appealing for witnesses following a reported “altercation” at Chinnor Football Club on May 10.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses following an incident linked to reference 43260231014.

“On 10th May 2026 between 16:00–17:00, an altercation occurred which resulted in several reported assaults.

“The incident took place at Cherry Tree Road / Chinnor Football Club, Chinnor.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything, or who may have any information that could assist.
