In addition the agents Christie Owen and Davies say that the business is well positioned to be transferred to a new operator.
The current operator, who is also the freehold owner, has said they are willing to grant a new free of tie lease to a suitable operator if that is desired.

In 2023 the business achieved a net turnover of £750,000 with its business rates currently at £41,000, although that is not necessarily the rates payable.
In addition there is a related opportunity for a detached barn near the pub available for £500,000 and which has planning permission for conversion into 12 letting rooms.
This provides the chance of turning The Mole Inn into a bed and breakfast as well as a gastro pub.
