Thames Valley Police has said that the resident was clearly unnerved by this and called the force for reassurance.

A statement from the force alerting the public to the incident, made in the intention of “awareness”, was made later this afternoon.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “At this time, we have no reason to suspect any offences were committed or due to be.

“But for public awareness, we are giving a description of the male.
