Police ‘disappointed’ as Cotswolds vandalised with graffiti

Thames Valley Police has flagged that Johnston’s Way in Chipping Norton has recently been tagged with graffiti.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are disappointed to report that the Johnston’s Way area has recently been tagged with graffiti.

“This type of behaviour causes unnecessary damage, creates additional costs for the community, and detracts from the appearance of our neighbourhood.

“We are keen to identify the person responsible and ensure this does not continue.

“We do not want our local area to be blighted by graffiti, and tackling it early helps prevent further incidents.

“If anyone recognises the tag or has information about who may be responsible, please contact the police via 101 or report it online and quote reference number 43260115048

“Your information could help us identify the individual responsible and prevent further damage to the area.”
