Police appeal after greyhound found beside Oxfordshire road
Thames Valley Police said one of its police officers was stopped by a member of the public who had found a female dog.
They had seen it next to the A4130 near to Nettelbed and the force has now launched a public appeal for the owner to come forward.

Claire Hewett of the South and Vale unit said: “Whilst out patrolling this morning 30/05/26, one of our response officers was stopped by a member of the public who had found an abandoned or lost dog.
“A female was picked up on the A4130 near to Nettelbed, she is a very friendly white and black Greyhound.
“Is anyone missing her?”
