Oxfordshire village fear for welfare incident update issued

Thames Valley Police has confirmed that it attended the Eynsham Roundabout late on Monday, March 23, and the force stated that no-one was hurt in the incident.

Reports emerged at just after 9pm of queueing traffic near to the village’s roundabout that intersects Lower Road, the B4449 and the A40.

According to social media users, cars were being told to find alternative routes as police vehicles rushed to the incident.

The force has now confirmed its presence at the time and said it was related to a fear for welfare incident that was safely resolved.

A spokesperson added the force wouldn’t be providing any further details.
