Transense Technologies plc, based in Oxfordshire, has appointed Hamaton Ltd and Tyresure Ltd as preferred distributors for its Translogik tyre inspection tools and TireTask tyre management platform.

The agreement marks Transense’s first dedicated distribution partner with operations in mainland Europe and comes amid growing pressure on fleets and tyre service providers to digitise tyre management.

Pressure on fleets and tyre service providers to digitise tyre management is growing, with the 2024 EU requirements for TPMS on new commercial vehicles and trailers among the changes reshaping how tyre data is captured, shared and acted upon.

Ryan Maughan, managing director of Transense Technologies plc, said: “This partnership is an important step in our international growth strategy.

“Hamaton and Tyresure have an excellent reputation across the European tyre industry, with the technical expertise, customer relationships, and market reach to support wider adoption of our digital tyre inspection solutions.”

Under the agreement, Hamaton and Tyresure will supply the full Translogik range, including TLGX tyre inspection devices and the TireTask software platform.

Products will be stocked at Hamaton’s German distribution centre, enabling faster delivery within the EU, simplified purchasing and local technical support in key European markets.

Martin Blakey, managing director of Hamaton Ltd and Tyresure Ltd, said: “Customers are increasingly looking for integrated solutions which provide better visibility of tyre condition throughout the asset lifecycle, whilst improving efficiency for fleet operations.

“Translogik complements our TPMS portfolio by adding advanced digital inspection and tyre management capabilities.”

The deal supports Transense’s strategy to expand the international availability of its tyre inspection technologies through specialist regional partners.
