Oxfordshire site managers rewarded for excellence in roles
Rob Wilson and Roger James, both based in Oxfordshire, have been recognised with the 2026 Quality Award from the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job scheme.
Mr Wilson, who manages Redrow South Midlands’ Hampden Meadows development in Watlington, South Oxfordshire, and Mr James, based at Blaise Park in Milton Heights, Abingdon, received the award for excellence in site management.
Mr Wilson said: “We’ve really enjoyed our time at Redrow and have embraced the new challenges that have come with it.
“Quality is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s a great feeling to have that hard work acknowledged.”
The award stands as their first win.
Mr James said: “This recognition is something we’ve been working towards for a long time and it’s incredibly rewarding to finally achieve it.
“That said, a site manager is only ever as strong as the team around them – and we’re both fortunate to have exceptional teams by my side.
“These awards belong to them as much as they belong to us.”
Rob began his construction career in 2003 and has worked with Redrow for four years, while Roger started in the industry at 14.
Lee Abbott, sales manager at Redrow South Midlands, said: “Rob and Roger’s contribution to our developments has been nothing short of extraordinary, so we’re thrilled their hard work has been recognised by the NHBC.”
