Oxfordshire police make five arrests and sell seized cars at auction

Over the past fortnight, Thames Valley Police’s Faringdon Neighbourhood Team has made five arrests.

Four of these were for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and one arrest for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

As part of these investigations, five vehicles were seized, with two already having been sold at auction.

A statement from the local policing team released on Tuesday (July 28) said: “We will not tolerate criminals operating within our area and will continue to take positive action against those involved in drug-related crime.

“Our priority remains keeping Faringdon and the surrounding villages safe for everyone who lives, works and visits here.

“If you have information about suspected drug activity or other criminality in your community, please continue to report it to us.

“Your information helps us build intelligence and take action against offenders.”
