Oxfordshire organisations asked to apply for community fund

Redrow South Midlands, currently building at Hampden Meadows in Watlington and Blaise Park in Abingdon, has relaunched its annual Redrow Community Fund to support organisations, groups, and individuals.

The scheme, which first launched in 2019, provides local organisations with specific donations to help them continue to thrive.

Lee Abbott, sales manager for Redrow South Midlands, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be building on the success of our previous community funds with a new £12,000 pot, helping us to support even more inspiring local projects and organisations.

“At Redrow, we’re passionate about creating thriving communities, not just through the homes we build, but by investing in the people and groups that make our neighbourhoods great places to live.”

Since launching the scheme, Redrow has donated £62,000 to causes across the region.

The company is now encouraging fresh applications for this year’s fund.

Mr Abbott said: “We know that even a small amount of funding can have a lasting impact, whether it’s art supplies for workshops, helping to buy tools for a community garden, or bringing people together through shared experiences.

“We’re excited to hear from people across Oxfordshire and can’t wait to see the projects this year’s fund will bring to life.”

The application window opens on Monday, July 13, and closes at midnight on Friday, September 25.
