Oxfordshire man arrested for ‘assaulting police officers’
Thames Valley Police has said the “well-known local male” was arrested for public order offences and well as assaulting a police officer.
The incident occurred between Friday 29 May and Sunday May 31 and was revealed by the Didcot and Wallingford Neighbourhood Police Team.

A spokesperson for the police said: “A well-known local male was arrested for public order offences and assaulting a police officer.
“Assaulting emergency workers is taken extremely seriously and is an offence under the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018.
“Our officers are here to help and protect – violence against them will never be tolerated.”
