Oxfordshire band hails ‘sell-out’ crowd at supper music show
Wantage Community Brass Band held its annual Spring Supper Concert at The Sykes Hall in Reading Road on Saturday, April 11.
Conducted by John Heritage, the show saw a “sell-out crowd” enjoy a meal prepared by a team of volunteers as well as some vintage brass music.

A spokesperson for the band said: “The Community Brass section of Wantage Silver Band performed a Supper Concert at their band hall at Tugwell Field, Wantage on Saturday.
“A great evening of music, food and wine was greatly enjoyed by the appreciative sell-out audience.”
The community brass band is part of the wider Wantage Silver Band, a registered charity dedicated to education in music and performance since 1972.
It includes more than 200 music makers, patrons, friends and supporters in Oxfordshire.
