A spokesperson for PolSing Music Management said: “She has spent the best part of a year finely crafting the songs, and the singles ‘A Long Way From Rome’ and ‘The Rolling Stone’ are as near as perfect indie pop singles as you will find anywhere and guaranteed to leave you humming them all day.

“Combine that with the atmospheric and anthemic title track, as well as a stunning piano ballad and an acoustic track, and you have a debut Extended Play [album] that is going to make big waves.”

Indeed, earlier this year, a demo copy of ‘A Long Way from Rome’ was sent to John Lewis and they subsequently invited her to play live in store for one of their store promotions.

They then invited her back in December to be part of their in-store Christmas campaign.

The spokesperson added: “She has paid her dues and learned her craft the hard way.”
