Oxford’s Blenheim Palace to hold show home opening
Blenheim Estate Homes will be welcoming visitors to view the property at Hill Rise, its newest sustainable housing development in Oxfordshire, across a launch weekend on May 9 and 10.
The project, located in Woodstock, is being delivered in partnership with Pye Homes and promises to put environmental responsibility and community living at the centre of its design.
Karis McMahon-Lane, marketing manager for Pye Homes and Blenheim Estate Homes, said: “We’re proud to be unveiling what will be our most sustainable development to date, and we aim to keep pushing the boundaries of environmentally responsible housebuilding.
“The homes at Hill Rise are not only operationally net zero, but the design considers the wellbeing of the residents who will leave here.
“We look forward to giving the showhome’s visitors the opportunity to experience the quality and sustainability that sets this development apart.”
Hill Rise will include up to 180 energy-efficient homes, with 48 planned in the first phase.
The development will offer a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties, and will include 50 per cent affordable housing.
Designed to be operationally net zero, Hill Rise will feature shared parking barns to reduce the visibility of cars and encourage active modes of transport, and include community spaces and allotments.
It will also provide walking and cycling routes connecting to Woodstock town centre.
Appointments to view the show home are available by booking.
