Oxford – young child seriously hurt in neighbourhood crash
Multiple emergency services were called to Dynham Place, which is off Girdlestone Road and The Slade in the Wood Farm area of Oxford, on Sunday afternoon, July 26.
Eye witnesses reported a heavy police and ambulance presence in the area.
Police officers have confirmed the child, whose age and gender have not been revealed, suffered “serious” injuries.
The crash involved a white Mercedes A180 hatchback and the child was a pedestrian.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware about a serious road traffic collision at around 1.58pm today (26/7) on Dynham Place.”
“The victim, a young child, sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries and is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
“No arrests have been and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed or has information is urged to get in contact quoting reference 43260383765.”
