Oxford United’s Aaron Lacey joins Chesham United on loan
The 19-year-old centre-back will continue his development away from the Kassam Stadium after gaining experience in senior football during previous loan spells.
Announcing the move, Oxford United said: “The Club can confirm that Aaron Lacey has joined National League South side Chesham United on a loan deal until February.
“The 19-year-old central defender signed his first professional contract at the Club last season and has had loan spells at Stratford Town and Hampton & Richmond, whilst also being part of last year’s Indonesia pre-season tour. All the best, Aaron.”

Lacey signed his first professional contract with the U’s last season and has already gained experience of senior football through loan spells at Stratford Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough.
The defender was also part of Oxford United’s squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Indonesia last year, where several young players were given the opportunity to travel with the first team.
His latest temporary switch will see him link up with a Chesham United side competing in National League South as he looks to add further first-team appearances to his growing career.
Oxford are aiming to bounce back after relegation from the Championship at the end of last season, with the club continuing to provide opportunities for younger players to gain regular senior experience away from the club.
