Oxford United linked with Huddersfield Town forward
23-year-old Taylor has scored 13 goals in total in League One this season both for parent club Huddersfield and most recently whilst on loan at Wigan Athletic.
Joining the Latics in January, the former Wales Under-21 international has impressed, scoring nine goals for a struggling Wigan side.
According to Football League World, who broke the news of Taylor’s move to Greater Manchester, Oxford are weighing up a summer move for the centre forward alongside Preston North End.

Other Championship clubs are thought to be interested in Taylor who has experienced mixed fortunes at Huddersfield before his impressive current spell at Wigan.
Peterborough-born Taylor began his career at National League North side King’s Lynn Town before winning a move to Peterborough United.
After just 14 months, he joined Luton Town where he was shipped out on loan moves to Colchester United and Lincoln City before arriving at Huddersfield.

His stellar performances now on loan at the Brick Community Stadium mean he has turned the heads of second-tier clubs.
It will be interesting to see whether a move materialises in the summer, with it unclear whether the U’s will remain in the Championship or not at this point in time.
Taylor would be an unproven entity in the second tier, but could prove an effective asset at a League One club next season.
