Oxford restaurant serving world’s first pink sriracha sauce

Pho, the Vietnamese street food restaurant on the third floor of the shopping centre, has partnered with SABZU, a premium Thai condiment brand by Bamboomart London Limited.

The sauce gets its striking colour from hibiscus flowers and is made with high-quality white Thai chillies grown in northern Thailand.

It starts with a fruity note and finishes with a spicy kick.

Libby Andrews, marketing director at Pho, said: “Not only does the new SABZU Pink Sriracha look amazing, it is delicious and so fun for summer.

“We are really excited to be the only place in the UK to serve it for the month of August.”

To mark the launch, Pho is running ‘Pink Wednesdays’ throughout August.

Customers who wear pink clothing to any Pho restaurant on a Wednesday can enjoy a spicy pink margarita and select dishes for just £5 each.

The offer includes crispy spring rolls, seasoned chicken wings, fresh summer rolls, and the margarita, which is infused with dragonfruit and Thai chillies.
