Oxford police arrest ‘wanted’ man in ‘theft’ investigation
The Thames Valley Police rural crime taskforce was assisted by a police constable from Oxford in locating and arresting a man who was ‘wanted’ by the force tonight, Thursday, March 19.
The male was wanted for ‘questioning in relation to the theft of plant machinery’.

He has now been taken into custody and will be interviewed by the forces.
A picture released with the police update showed a man handcuffed at a police station, being led by an officer with another escorting them.
Agricultural crime, which includes the theft or damaging of farm machinery, as well as damage to property, theft of equipment and livestock worrying is one of the key areas the police’s rural crime taskforce covers.
