PC Moore and PC Galbraith of Thames Valley Police were patrolling the city centre on Thursday afternoon (May 21) when they came across Medusa and Pandora, two Royal pythons.

Their owners, believed to be Peter Mills and fiancée Charlie Wren, were on a mission to prove not all snakes are bad.

Mr Mills, 24, previously told the Oxford Mail that he lives in a one-bedroom in Cowley Road with 15 snakes, while Ms Wren 23, a canine hydrotherapist from Witney, helps him to look after them.

Last month, the couple were spotted taking their corn snakes, Mushu and Felkor, and Royal python Medusa, for a ‘walk’ in the sunshine in the city centre.

Pythons were also spotted in Donnington and Port Meadow last year.
