Oxford man accused of sexually assaulting girl in court
Elliott Day, of Songers Close, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, April 16.
The 40-year-old is charged with two counts of sexual assault, alleged to have been committed in Oxford between October 27, 2017 and June 20, 2023.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges.
According to the court record, the alleged victim was six-years-old at the time of the allegations.
The court heard the issue in the trial is going to be whether the touching was sexual in nature.
A trial date, with a time estimate of two days, was set for March 20, 2028.
Judge Ian Pringle KC explained to Day that he was being released for his trial on bail with several conditions.
