Oxford hospital nurses receive luxury hampers for Nurses Day
Leaf Living, a rented homes provider, visited John Radcliffe Hospital to deliver two luxury hampers as part of International Nurses Day celebrations.
The hampers, filled with tea, coffee, biscuits, and other treats, were from The British Hamper Company.
Laura Contany, lettings consultant at Leaf Living, said: “We’re committed to playing a proud and active role in the neighbourhoods in which we deliver homes for rent.
“We were pleased to meet some of the fantastic staff at John Radcliffe Hospital to mark International Nurses Day.
“Our homes at Beckley Place are just 9 minutes’ drive away, we were very proud to be involved and to get to know more people in our community.”
Nurses in the Neurology unit, who were thanked for their dedication, have been enjoying the contents of the hampers during their shifts.
Jamie French, hospital engagement manager from Oxford Hospitals Charity, said: “We share our thanks for this kind donation of two hampers which were welcomed by staff in our hospitals.
“Oxford Hospitals Charity loves working with our local community to make a difference for patients and staff in our hospitals.”
To further support key workers, Leaf Living is offering eligible NHS staff a £250 Love2Shop or John Lewis voucher when they move into one of its homes.
