Oxford hairdressing salon targeted with ‘smashed glass’ seen

Thames Valley Police was made aware of a business burglary in Little Clarendon Street in Oxford at 9.15am on Sunday (June 7).

An eyewitness told this newspaper Mahogany Hairdressing had been targeted.

“There was smashed glass and police at the scene,” she said.

No arrests have been made at this stage as police launch an investigation into the suspected burglary.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “An investigation has been launched and no arrests have been made at this time.

“If anyone witnessed this incident or has any information that could assist our investigation, they should call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting the reference 43260284094.”

Mahogany Hairdressing has been contacted for comment.

Part of the door was boarded up on Sunday afternoon at the business.
