Oxford genius scores 16 A*s in perfect academic record

Imogen Flight who studied at Wheatley Park School, achieved an incredibly impressive 12 A* grades in her GCSEs two years ago.

After moving on to take four A-levels, the teenager learned this morning (Thursday, August 13) that she had a clean sweep all over again.

The genius ensured a flawless academic record as she claimed four A*s in computer science, history, maths and further maths.

At Wheatley Park School, the biggest ever cohort of students, totalling 117, achieved the strongest A-level results since 2022.

28 per cent of grades gained were awarded at A* or A, 59 per cent at A* to B, 85 per cent at A* to C and 100 per cent at A* to E.

Headteacher Tim Martin said: “Thank you to all our Year 13s for being fully ‘purple-blooded’ Wheatley Parkers.

“Also an enormous thank you and a fond farewell to our much-loved and highly-respected Head of Sixth Form, Graham West.

“He retires this summer after leading our Sixth Form so successfully for the last nine years of his twenty-five years at WPS and thirty years in teaching.”
