Oxford football star secures sponsorships for new season

Following news of his contract renewal with Oxford City, Taylor’s sponsorship packages were snapped up swiftly.

The football star, who made an impact last season by scoring five goals in seven matches, will be backed by Avalon Pool Cover Services and the Michael Family.

Avalon Pool Cover Services, a local firm known for providing pool covers, expressed delight at continuing their support for both Taylor and the club.

Joe Bennett, Avalon’s boss, said: “It’s a pleasure to be involved and get behind both Matty and Oxford City this season.

“On a business level it works for us because City have such strong links with the business network across Oxfordshire, but my young family have grown up watching Matty score goals and we look forward to seeing that continue next season.”

The Michael Family also shared their enthusiasm about the renewed partnership, highlighting their enjoyment of sponsoring Taylor in the previous season.

They said: “It’s great that the club offers these two opportunities.

“We loved being involved as Matty’s sponsors last season and it’s great news that he will be here again.”

Taylor’s sponsorship deals follow the news that Jonny Maxted’s Family sponsorship has been taken up, though his Business Sponsorship is still available.

Oxford City FC has invited businesses and families to become part of their journey by sponsoring players from both their men’s and women’s teams.
