The court heard that Foster was working as a childminder at the time of the offence.

On Tuesday, April 7, a jury found him guilty of inciting a female child to engage in sexual activity. It could not reach a verdict on the charge of rape.

On April 14, Foster appeared on a video link from HMP Bullingdon after he was remanded in custody following his conviction.

It was confirmed that Foster will face a retrial on the rape count on October 26 this year.
