Oxford delivery moped rider rammed in police chase
The rider was spotted by the traffic police speeding in the Iffley area of Oxford on Sunday, April 5.
He wouldn’t stop and so the officers made “tactical contact” with the runaway delivery boy and their unmarked Volvo V90 to bring the chase to an end.
However, it didn’t end there as the moped rider then attempted to flee on foot, but he was soon caught and arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.

“The rider was pursued by a police motorcycle in the Iffley area of Oxford before tactical contact was used to bring the motorcycle to a stop.
“The rider then thought he’d try to outrun us on foot, but epically failed as he was arrested for dangerous driving and failing to stop.
“Officers then located multiple bags of cannabis on the motorcycle in a food delivery bag.
“If you’re missing your delivery, please get in touch.”
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to provide a preliminary test at the roadside and possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He is still currently in police custody.
He didn’t have anything else in his delivery bag, just class B drugs.
